"It was imprudent of us, in the first place, to become authors. We could have become something regular, but we managed not to.
We were lucky, but we were also determined." Roy Blount Jr

"I don’t change the facts to enhance the drama. I think of it the other way round, the drama has got to fit the facts,
and it’s your job as a writer to find the shape in real life."
Hilary Mantel

April Fool!

In case you didn't know...

This is a very strange (and wet) week. There was nothing I absolutely had to do and it felt oh, so strange. Still does. I accomplished some things and had lots of "think" time about my next writing project/s.

We had rain and rain and rain, and that didn't bother me so much as knowing about all the flooding issues all over the region.

But now that it's Maundy Thursday the sun (!!!) is back and I will actually leave the house, to attend church. Which is the same place I went the last time I left the Lodge, on Sunday.
